Junior Bible Quiz
Question. Question #1 for 30 points. Is all the Bible inspired?
Answer: 2 Timothy 3:16 "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness." (NIV)
That is just one of the 576 questions and answers that children memorize in order to compete with each other through the ministry of Junior Bible Quiz. Because we believe that all the Bible is inspired of God, and is useful for training, we are happy to be a part of this fun-filled, exciting children's ministry.
The North Texas District encompasses the area of Texas roughly between Wichita Falls, Austin, Lufkin, the Red River, and Texarkana. There are hundreds of quizzers and about 140 teams in the North Texas District.
Within our district are eight area leagues, each with many churches from several cities competing in Junior Bible Quiz. The North Texas District is a part of the South Central Region, which also includes the districts of South Texas, West Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, New Mexico, and even Hawaii.

Some of the fiercest competition in JBQ comes from our part of the prairie. Every year, Texas has nearly a half dozen teams that place high at the National Festival. In recent years, Texas has produced three national champion teams and two individual top scorers. This is the kind of competition you can expect to wrangle with at the Lonestar JBQ Invitational.
The 2nd annual Lonestar Tournament will be held the weekend of March 5-6, 2010 at The Oaks Fellowship in Red Oak, Texas.
