A: The 2015 District Finals tee shirt is a wonderful way to reward your quizzers for a job well done this year. Quizzers love to look back at their shirts years later and remember each District Finals they quizzed at!
This is an example of last year's tee. We will post a graphic of this year's tee as soon as possible. The back of the shirt will have the names of all teams who have registered for District Finals by March 9. Shirts are $15. Order your shirts today!
A: In order to be fair to all teams, no child under quizzing age may be in quiz rooms. We encourage families to leave their young children home with a grandparent, a friend, or sitter.
A: There are many motels on State Highway 67, I-35, and I-20. Here is a map showing many area motels. Scroll around to find more!
A: There are dozens of restaurants near the motels on SH 67, I-35 and I-20. There are also lots of restaurants to the south of the church on Belt Line Road. Use this map to find a restaurant for your group. Remember that restaurants are very busy on Friday night, so allow plenty of time for your group to eat before check-in.
A: Teams in each division will play a complete round robin within their own level. Ties will be broken as determined by head-to-head competition.
The winner of the Advanced division will be considered the North Texas District's 2014-2015 champion and will be qualified to compete at the National JBQ Festival in June. That same team and the advanced-level teams in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th places will be qualified to compete at the South Central Region's JBQ Finals in April.
A: Each division follows its own schedule for the weekend. When we get final numbers for each division, we will create a definite schedule, but here is a tentative master schedule for all.
A: Yes! Our 13th annual Bible Master competition is open to any quizzer who has earned his or her Bible Master seal. The preliminary round(s) will take place after team check-in on Friday. Will you be the winner of the coveted 2015 Bible Master trophy? Sign up for the competition during team check-in. Here are the official rules.
