Q: Who may compete at the JBQ Bowl?
A: Top-level teams from any district may compete at the JBQ Bowl.  Competition is expected to be high-level, as many of the teams are regular National JBQ Festival attendees.

Q: What is the format of competition?
A: Quizzing will be over entire JBQ Fact-Pak.
We will play one complete round robin of all registered teams. 
Ties between teams will be broken by head-to-head competition. 
Individual ties will be broken by number of quiz-outs.

Q: How do we register and pay?
A: Please use the links on the side or bottom of each page to register your team.  Also - please print your confirmation page and mail that along with your check payable to Rhonda Brown (Denton/Sherman area.)  Here is the mailing address:

Q: What is the registration fee?
A: The 2010 registration fee is $35.00 per team. 
Registration deadline is January 15, 2010.  Payments are non-refundable.

Q: Do you have information for local hotels?
A: We sure do!  Download a list of hotels with their contact information.

Q: Are there awards for quizzers and teams?
A: Every team will receive a medallions according to their ranking.
The top ten quizzers will receive a ribbon.

Q: What is the schedule for the tournament?
A: Please arrive for team check-in at 8:30 a.m.
After the opening orientation, we will begin quizzing promptly at 9:00 a.m.

Q: What should teams supply?
A: Please bring a working quiz box and an extension cord.
Each official should bring a copy of the Official Guidelines.
Each team should supply two well-qualified officials.
Each team must supply one experienced quizmaster as well.

Q: Is childcare available?
A: There will be no formal childcare available.  However, if you would like to bring an adult chaperone for your child, we have an indoor area that your child may play in, under the supervision of your chaperone. Please e-mail me at momrhonda@hotmail.com if childcare is a must.  I do have people available in this case.
