First things first! You'll need a Bible Fact-Pak. It contains the 576 questions and answers your child is going to learn.
Some families prefer using the Bible Fact-Pak cards. Each card has one question printed on the front and the answer on the back. It's easy to take a few with you everywhere you go, so you can learn when you have a few spare minutes.
Other families like the Study Guide, which has all the same questions but in booklet form.
Although you can use the Bible Fact-Pak questions within your family, kids will be more enthusiastic and eager to study if they are part of a larger group of children. It's time to find a church that participates in Junior Bible Quiz.
The North Texas District is divided into several smaller areas, each with a group of churches that meet at local competitions. To find a participating church, first find the Area League where you live. Then you can click through to find a list of their JBQ churches. If you can't find a church near you, contact our District Coordinator to ask for help.
Encourage, encourage, encourage! This is the most important role you will have as your child masters the Bible Fact-Pak.
It's challenging to memorize all those Scriptures and remember all those names, so show excitement when they get that answer down pat. Figure out some helpful advice for getting that one really tricky answer into their memory bank. Celebrate their victories large and small. And if you need some more ideas, ask their coach! They want your child to succeed, too.
Let's face it: kids like rewards! We know how very important it is to get God's Word down deep in your heart. But we have to be honest, too. It's pretty challenging! That's where the Bible Master program fits in.
After mastering the easiest questions and answers, quizzers (and adults!) can earn the Discoverer Award. But don't stop there - there are several other national and district awards to earn!
