GUIDELINES
Both new and experienced JBQ officials need to read through the Official Guidelines at the start of each season. Download and print your set - and make a lot of notes on the pages! Be sure to take your Guidelines with you to every JBQ meet. If you have questions about what a guideline means, ask your church or area coordinator.
SCOREKEEPING
Many North Texas area leagues use a ScoreKeep program to enter their scores electronically. Although scorekeepers still need to know the Official Guidelines for keeping score, many of the point values are automatically entered when using ScoreKeep. Download this document to help you learn how to use ScoreKeep. Page 6 is specifically for officials who keep score during matches.
CERTIFICATION
North Texas District officials are some of the best in the nation and we want to keep it that way! All our officials are required to pass the online certification test once every two years.
IMPORTANT! At the end of the test, you must type your first and last name FOLLOWED BY YOUR AREA or your score will not be sent to our district. Example: Mary Smith, Denton -or- Jose Garza, Fort Worth
CIRCLE OF THE SWORD

Hey, officials! You work HARD and we know it. Quizzers and coaches get awards when they succeed; don't you think you deserve awards as well? We do too!
Many officials learn the Bible Fact-Pak questions and answers along with their quizzers. We want to reward officials who take that extra step. The Circle of the Sword does just that.
Officials who have mastered any level of the Bible Master program and have also achieved a passing score on the certification test will be recognized at area and district meets.
